authentic yoga āsana practice at your workplace
a dynamic class, open to all levels, designed to cultivate awareness, concentration, and vitality, while fostering inner peace
class features
dynamic āsana
A dynamic posture sequence, known as vinyasa, designed to generate heat, promote vitality, and reveal new insights into your capabilities. It will make you sweat, open the body and balance the nervous system. You are always free to take it as deep as feels right for you. Every class ends with 10 min relaxation and a head massage.
mantra
We open and close the practice with short mantras - combinations of ancient sacred words. They help to concentrate the mind and sharpen focus - ‘to protect the mind’ as described in the ancient texts. When the mind is calm, it conserves energy which can then be directed toward higher purposes.
pranayama
In the branch of physical yoga, known as Hatha yoga, we use the breath to release sluggishness and tension from both body and mind. By synchronizing breath with movement, we steady the mind, expand awareness, and strengthen our capacity to meet life’s challenges with clarity and resilience.
touch that transforms
Amongst yogis and yoginis, this is known as the craft of hands-on assists and adjustments. It means students are skillfully guided into postures with supportive touch. The approach doesn’t need to be forceful—rather, it is healing and helps create new neural pathways, opening fresh ways of experiencing both the body and life itself.
intention setting
Yoga practice is never selfish; it is always an act of selflessness. You may dedicate your practice to a deity, a family member, or a colleague with whom you may find it difficult to connect. The practice of intention setting allows you to cultivate compassion and gain new perspectives.
for all paths of faith
According to the law of Sanātana Dharma—the foundational principle of Yoga—all yogic practices are accessible to people of every faith, belief or tradition. The practice of yoga āsana supports you in opening more fully to your own path, wherever life may lead.
“Egle is an exceptional teacher - a true, authentic practitioner who genuinely walks the yogic path.”
— Mukta, plant based chef
from ancient wisdom to modern wellness
Yogāsana practice honors the timeless wisdom passed down through generations. Rooted in the Ashtanga Yoga (eight-limbed) tradition and inspired by the teachings of Sri Krishnamacharya, the class blends influences from Ashtanga Mysore, B.K.S. Iyengar, and Jivamukti Yoga. The sequence, originally shared by senior teacher Stewart Gilchrist in London, offers a grounded yet dynamic practice that connects tradition with the present moment.
